Fall in Georgia has it all—cooler air, golden light, beautiful fall foliage and just enough crunch underfoot to make everything feel a little more romantic. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings across vineyards, gardens, mountain farms, and historic estates, and I always find myself extra excited when couples choose to get married in the fall. If you’re planning an autumn wedding and still hunting for the perfect fall wedding venue, this list is filled with personal favorites—all I’ve had the honor of working at and all absolutely stunning during peak foliage.

There are a lot of beautiful venues in Georgia—but not all of them come alive the way these do once the weather cools and the leaves start to turn.
These are places I keep coming back to. Some have mountain views that feel like a movie. Others are full of quiet beauty, like garden paths or rows of vines catching the evening light. Some are grand and elegant. Others are warm and cozy, with fireplaces and farm tables and just enough space to feel connected.

I’ve photographed real weddings at all of the venues on this list, I know how light moves through these spaces in October. I’ve seen how the colors show up in photos. And I’ve felt the way these places hold people and stories.
So if you’re trying to find a fall wedding venue in Georgia that will give you that feeling—here are a few I’d wholeheartedly recommend.
Dahlonega, GA

There’s just something about Montaluce that feels cinematic—the light, the architecture, and the view of the vines at golden hour. I’ve photographed weddings here that felt like they belonged in Tuscany (without ever leaving North Georgia).
