Shiloh Gardens is partnered with Fur Kids and Animal Rescue and Shelters to help support their efforts related to funding their lifesaving animal programs. *Cue the tears*. What to Expect When You Host Your Wedding at Shiloh Gardens
I have had the honor of photographing multiple celebrations here and returning to the same venue more than once gives you an interesting perspective as a photographer. The versatility of the space is one of my favorite things about a Shiloh Gardens wedding.
The staff has also been consistently friendly, inviting and organized whenever I have worked here. You can tell that the people managing the property care about what the venue supports, but they also care about helping your actual wedding day run well.
Shiloh Gardens Wedding Ceremony Locations
There are 4 ceremony location options that you can choose from including their main entrance, garden lawn (the most popular!), courtyard, and Giaquinto event center (indoor option) all of which have a distinct atmosphere.
The Main Entrance
The Main Entrance features this beautiful covered rustic breezeway that is perfect for welcoming guests, portraits, a first look or a smaller ceremony.
The overhead structure, greenery and patio lighting give the area a beautiful look without requiring a large amount of additional decorating. Because it is covered, it can also be helpful when you want an outdoor feeling with a little more protection from the weather.
I especially like this space for quieter moments earlier in the day. It gives you some separation from the larger garden areas without making you feel closed off from the property.
Garden Lawn
When you are searching for garden wedding venues near Atlanta, this is probably the space that will first make you pause.
The Garden Lawn is surrounded by mature trees and sits beside the venue’s koi pond. Instead of feeling overly manicured or formal, it has a softer, more natural look that instantly feels cozy and inviting. The greenery already creates a complete backdrop which allows your florals and ceremony design to complement the setting rather than compete with it.
Courtyard
The Courtyard can be used for a ceremony, cocktail hour or another gathering during the wedding day. This area has a water fountain, a smaller koi pond, an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a stone fire pit. The string lighting and stone details give the space the feeling of an elevated backyard dinner party.
This is one of the areas where the venue’s flexibility becomes especially helpful. You might hold your ceremony on the Garden Lawn before moving everyone into the Courtyard for drinks. For a more intimate wedding, the Courtyard itself could become your ceremony location.
And yes, this is also a natural place to arrange an appearance from adoptable Furkids animals during cocktail hour. Good luck getting your guests to pay attention to anything else once the puppies arrive!
Giaquinto Event Center
The 3,400-square-foot Giaquinto Event Center provides an indoor option for ceremonies and receptions.
The building includes high ceilings, warm architectural details and plenty of natural light. Rather than feeling completely disconnected from the rest of the venue, it sits along the garden pathway and offers views toward the surrounding property.
This space is important for two reasons.
First, it allows you to host an indoor reception without giving up the garden setting you initially fell in love with. Your guests can enjoy the outdoor spaces during the ceremony and cocktail hour before moving inside for dinner and dancing.

What Is Included in Your Shiloh Gardens Wedding Rental?
Shiloh Gardens includes more than access to the property. You also get:
- Access to the Garden Lawn, Courtyard and Giaquinto Event Center
- Setup and breakdown of ceremony and reception tables and chairs
- Round, rectangular, high-top and custom wood tables
- Mahogany Chiavari chairs and chestnut cross-back chairs
- Black or white polyester tablecloths
- A prep and warming kitchen
- Onsite parking for up to 130 cars
- Outdoor propane heaters and fire pits
- A one-hour final consultation with the event team
- An onsite staff member during the event
- A preferred vendor list
- A rehearsal or walkthrough before the wedding date
Having tables, chairs, basic linens, setup and breakdown included is so incredible because it removes several separate rentals from your planning list.
What Will You Need to Still Provide?
Because Shiloh Gardens is still considered a DIY-wedding venue and event space, you will still need to provide some of the decor, outsourcing vendors, and entertainment.
Depending on your plans, you may still need:
- A wedding planner or day-of coordinator
- Catering and bar service
- Florals and additional decor
- A photographer and videographer
- Entertainment
- Your cake or desserts
- Place settings and specialty rentals
- Transportation or nearby hotel arrangements
How Much Does a Shiloh Gardens Wedding Cost?
