I recently got to document Anna & Bryant’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 and it reminded me why I am consistently adding Wildflower 301 to my most recommended garden wedding venue ideas list for couples. Truly, it’s magical there! So, I thought I would put together a complete guide about the Wildflower 301 wedding venue so that you can imagine what your own wedding could look like here.

Location: Greensboro, Georgia, about an hour east of Atlanta
Indoor/Outdoor Ceremony: You get both here!
Indoor/Outdoor Reception: You get both here!

One of my favorites about the Wildflower 301 wedding venue is that you get wayyyy more than a lawn with a reception nearby. The property itself is truly a sight to see!
The property includes:
Another great part about working with the Wildflower 301 team for your wedding day is that your event will be the only one on the calendar for your date. This is truly a perk in its own because the staff is able to dedicate their undivided attention to your day.

A popular reason why so many couples in the Atlanta metro love the Wildflower 301 is because of how massive their English-style gardens are (seriously, there are 2 whole acres!). Throughout the gardens there are these beautiful winding pathways that make the scenery feel like a fairytale (in the best way). The trees are established and mature so you have incredible shade during the warmer months.
The gardens here truly influence the entire feel of this wedding venue. Because of this, there are so many incredible portrait opportunities throughout the space that never feel overdone.

If you do a quick Google search, you’ll quickly find that their outdoor ceremony space is quite popular. There are beautiful pointed white arches on the ceremony platform that feels equally dramatic as it does romantic.
Like any outdoor event, having a plan B, C, and D is critical. I love that Wildflower 301 has an indoor option that is just as beautiful as their outdoor gardens. And if you want to learn more about how to handle the weather on your wedding day, head to this post next.

Now, if you’ve been around here before, you already know that I’m a sucker for some beautiful architecture. The historic mansion at Wildflower 301 is no different!
The getting ready suites are located within the Historic Mansion on-site which allows for a beautiful cohesive gallery from the beginning of the day, ‘till the end.

Specifically, there are two spaces that are often used: the white room & the whiskey room.
If you are planning a first-look, Wildflower 301 has you covered with the options! There is a dedicated first-look platform, garden pathways, the mansion porch, wooded areas, and many spaces sprinkled throughout the property around the ceremony garden.
Anna and Bryant chose to also do a first look with their parents!

One of the most common reasons couples book their wedding at Wildflower 301 is because of how seamless the experience is from getting ready to the infamous send off.
A wedding day could look something like this:
Because everything is on the same property, there is less pressure to calculate transportation time between each part of the day. That gives your timeline so much space to breathe and to allow flexibility throughout the day as things come up (because they will).

The wildflower 301 wedding cost will depend on your wedding date, guest count, catering selection, optional services/addons, and current venue packages. However, the venue does promote inclusive pricing and includes up to 12 hours of access to the property for your celebration. Check out their website for this most up-to-date information!

At the end of the day, what makes the day so special is not where you’re exchanging your vows. It’s the love you have for each other and the people you invite to celebrate it. I always encourage couples to choose a space that truly does embody all of their wishlist items. This wedding venue just outside of Atlanta is truly perfect if you’re wanting that elevated estate feel with the whimsy details from the garden.
